Bay Area Quiz Kids Winners 2010 & a 2009 Clip Featuring Your Favorite Masonic Personalities

Bay Area Quiz Kids Awards Show 2009.

As part of our Community Support the Burlingame Scottish Rite once again contributed the prizes for the Second Place Team of the TV Game show The Quiz Kids as they have for the last ten year. Before the Burlingame Scottish Rite became involved the second prize team each received a Walkman. Now each of the team members receive a check for $500.00 to help with their college expences and their coach receives a $250.00 thank you.

Not able to attend is the team’s Coach Grant Paul. In the Back row are Ill Richard Brown, 33° Venerable Master of the Burlingame Lodge of Perfection, Ill Lee T. Porebski, 33° Personal Representative of the SGIG in California for the Valley of Burlingame and William E. Price, Past Commander of Golden Gate Commandery No. 16, Knights Templar, who is also a KC.CH at the Burlingame Scottish Rite.


On the left in this picture Jay D. Rodriguez, 32° KSA is receiving a thank you from U. S. Marine Corp Gunnery Sergeant Timothy Anthamatten and Ill Richard Brown, 33° Venerable Master for his accomplishments for the 2009 Toys for Tots campaign. Brother Jay more than doubled the amount of toys collected from the same area the previous year. Brother Jay was quick to point out that it was done with the generosity of the Masonic Organizations involved.

A Special Scottish Rite Organization for Special Scottish Rite Men.

If you’re not afraid to serve the Burlingame Scottish Rite then ask
a man with a feather in his cap how to get involved.


Now that we are conferring all five degrees in accordance with the New Pike Ritual as directed by the Supreme Council, we need additional cast members, stage craft and technicians. If you have a background in these areas or would like to learn contact either Ill Lee T. Porebski 33°, or Kevin Conragan, 32° KCCH for sound, lighting, wardrobe & prop management and Bill Price 32° KCCH for stagecraft. We need individuals with skills in Woodworking, Carpentry, painting and electrical to help provide props, drops and special lighting. Those with background in sound and lighting control can be added to our staff for back-up. If you have interests in acting get in touch with Ill Lee T. Porebski 33° for general information or one of the following Degree Masters for interset in specific degrees:

The Burlingame Scottish Rite Bulletin by eMail!

Are you aware the Burlingame Scottish Rite Bulletin is available by email? Each month our email distribution list has increased, and we hope that we can include you to our list as well. As a Burlingame Scottish Rite member or friend you can receive your Bulletin by email approximately one week earlier than the version received by conventional mail. In addition you will also receive all flyers by email. You will also receive something that conventional subscribers don’t get -- updates. These updates will be event schedule changes, added events, degree dates, any change or addition.

Of course if for any reason you wish to be taken off the list or your email address changed just let us know, and we will immediately make the requested change. Most important; your email address will not be shared with anyone. Your email address will only be stored in the Scottish Rite Sentinel system and as part of our special email distribution list.Why accept your Bulletin by email? Eventually we hope to have all issues of the Bulletin and its attachments sent out only as emails. This will save our Scottish Rite money in the form of reduced postage and printing costs.
